A MAN left with a serious injury to the neck following a reported assault incident outside an Oakridge pub was found in life-threatening condition, the ambulance service has confirmed.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service were called at 9.54pm on Sunday, April 17, to Cherry Tree Walk to reports of an assault.
A spokesperson said: "We sent to the scene an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and BASICS.
"They were assessing and treating one patient who was in a life threatening condition.
"Following treatment at the scene by all our crews the patient was taken to North Hampshire Hospital."

As previously reported, police attended the scene outside The Oak pub where an altercation ensued between two people, resulting in a 32-year-old man suffering a serious injury to his neck.
No arrests have been made, but anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary by calling 101 and using reference 44220151010.
