A BASINGSTOKE man charged with wounding with intent following an ‘alteraction’ outside an Oakridge pub will appear at crown court next month.
Police were called to The Oak pub on Cherry Tree Walk shortly after 9.30pm on Easter Sunday (April 17).
Two men had been involved in an ‘altercation’ which left a 32-year-old with a serious injury to the neck. He remains in hospital.

Myles Jason Paige, 27, of Milton Close, Basingstoke, has been charged with wounding with intent.
Paige, wearing a grey sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court this morning (Wednesday).
District Judge Tim Pattinson remanded Paige in custody. He will appear at Winchester Crown Court on May 18.
