A POPULAR vegan food festival is returning to Basingstoke tomorrow (Sunday, May 1) for a summer series.
The event, named Vegan Fiesta Basingstoke, will be held at The Amphitheatre at Festival Place Shopping Centre, next to The Angel and near Vue Cinema.
The festival will be held from 11am to 5pm.
Vegan Fiesta Basingstoke was a huge success for the winter season when it was held inside their own pop-up shop.
As the event returns after a short break, the organisers said it will now run on the first Sunday of each month from May to August.
The event, organised by Sparkle Vegan Events, is free of charge to enter.
The stalls sell a range of delicious deli, yummy cakes, nut-based cheeses, beautiful jewellery, natural skincare and eco-friendly products.
Back by popular demand, The Vegan Street Diner will be frying up American-style hot dogs and Wicked Seitan will be serving delicious hot wraps.
Sparkle Vegan Events said it will be a safe and friendly environment for vegans and non-vegans alike, with music, free giveaways and picnics on the grass.
Each event will also have a different activity such as bath bomb making and yoga.

Sarah Zeneli, from Sparkle Vegan Events, said: “The local people of Basingstoke are always so supportive of the Vegan Fiesta so we are very excited to be returning back outside for a summer series.
“Our stallholders are wonderful small businesses with delicious hot food; and brilliant homemade, artisan and plant-based goods. We look forward to welcoming you.”
