CHILDREN entering emergency care and beekeepers in Africa are benefitting from the success of a marketing consultancy firm.
Brevity, a Hampshire based marketing consultancy which provides content, communications and consultancy services to 20 regional firms, joined the global ‘giving’ movement B1G1 at the beginning of 2022.
Brevity was founded was founded over 10 years ago; the company’s head office is located in Farleigh Wallop, just outside of Basingstoke.
As part of the B1G1 movement, Brevity donates to a range of both UK and international charities and not-for-profit projects every time the company completes a new blog, raises an invoice, or welcomes a new customer.

One of the projects that Brevity backs, the Buddy Bag Foundation, works to give ‘buddy bags’ to children entering emergency care after fleeing violence at home.
These bags contain essential items, such as toiletries, pyjamas, socks and underwear, as well as some comfort items, such as a book or teddy bear.
Founder and director of Brevity Kaia Vincent said: “Values and being an ethical business have always been the backbone of Brevity.
“We worked on creating the right culture internally at first, so Brevity is genuinely a really good place to work.
“And now we’re turning our attention outwards and thinking about how we can use the business as a force for good.
“B1G1 makes it really simple for businesses to support good causes.
“We link donations to specific activities or business wins, so the more successful we are the more we give.
“That feels right.”

Brevity already supports the UN’s Global Goals, a series of 17 commitments agreed by 193 world leaders in 2015 that aim to end extreme poverty, inequality and tackle climate change by 2030.
The Buddy Bag Foundation was founded in 2014; the charity has provided over 40,000 buddy bags to people around the UK.
