OFFICERS have thanked the public after police reports helped them to recover a moped from a residential area of Basingstoke last night (Wednesday, May 11).
PCSOs Page and Croxton recovered the suspected stolen moped from a residential car park on Crondall Terrace in Rooksdown.
The moped was displaying a false number plate.

The same vehicle was sighted in Popley a couple of weeks ago in similar circumstances and was seen being ridden in an anti-social manner.
Posting to Facebook, Basingstoke Cops wrote: "Thank you to the local residents for reporting this to Police."
