The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council project was carried out following a public consultation, and has been funded using the local infrastructure fund.
The new park, located next to the splash pad, is described as being ‘natural, colourful and inclusive’.
It includes a climbing wall, speed slide, climbing and sheltering hut, toddler multi-play unit, group swings, chalk drawing zone and a long jump game.
There is also a wheelchair accessible roundabout, balancing slack line, and a tree detective play panel.
A new picnic bench has been installed along with safety surfacing on the floor.
