POLICE have said they are carrying out patrols as they continue their murder investigation after the death of a man who was found with serious injuries at a house in the Brighton Hill area of Basingstoke.
Officers attended the address in Musgrave Close after being called at 11.14pm yesterday (May 22).
A man in his 30s was found inside the address. He had sustained significant injuries and was later pronounced dead. His next-of-kin have been informed.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of what took place. No arrests have been made at this stage.
Following the incident, the Basingstoke Neighbourhood Policing Team has been conducting patrols around the area.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police, said: “We will be continuing our patrols throughout the day, so feel free to come and talk to us.
“Please be assured that our investigators are working hard to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”

Earlier today police carried out raids at two properties one in Ferndown Close and one in Dollery Way but no arrest have so far been made.
