ONE lane was closed on the A34 near Winchester earlier this afternoon.
The lane was shut on the A34 southband between the A33 and J9 of the M3.
Lane one was closed due to a broken down vehicle but has since reopened.
National Highways tweeted: "Lane 1 of (2) is currently closed on the #A34 southbound between the #A33 and the #M3 J9 near #Winchester due to a broken down vehicle. #TrafficOfficers are on scene and recovery agents are en route. Please allow extra time for your journey as delays of 25 minutes on the approach."

Traffic offers were on the scene and have since warned drivers to expect 20 minute delays.
National Highways have since tweeted: "On the #A34 south between the #A33 and the #M3 J9 near #Winchester the earlier broken down vehicle has now been recovered from the scene. #TrafficOfficers have reopened all of the lanes and traffic is flowing through the area. Residual delays of 20 minutes remain on the approach."
