A TRUCK driver from Basingstoke has been forced to pay more than £600 after his dangerous driving caused another vehicle to collide with a motorway barrier.
On December 22 2021, Marc Bogdan of Buckfast Close was driving a DAF truck on the M6 northbound between junctions 6 and 7 at Birmingham, without due care or attention.
The 28-year-old changed lanes, but failed to see another vehicle, causing it to collide with the central barrier.
The other vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Bogdan pleaded guilty to the offence and was handed a £517 fine at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 31.
He must also pay a surcharge of £52 and costs of £110 - making a total of £679.
His driving record was also endorsed with eight penalty points.
