A TOP comedian who was set to bring her act to the stage in Basingstoke tonight has been forced to postpone the show.

The hilarious Sarah Millican is on tour with her ‘Bobby Dazzler’ of a new stand-up show and was due to appear at The Anvil tonight (June 9).

However, the venue has today announced that it will now take place Wednesday, July 27.

An Anvil spokesperson said: “We are sorry to announce that due to illness Sarah’s show tonight (June 9) at The Anvil has to be postponed. The show will be rescheduled to Wednesday 27 July 2022.

“Sarah is very sorry that the show has had to be postponed and hopes to see you all at the new date in July.”

The show is sold out, but people can join the waiting list by emailing box.office@anvilarts.org.uk providing their name, address, contact number and number of tickets required.
