TWO men were assaulted and threatened with a knife in a Hampshire town – now police are appealing for information.
The men were assaulted on Victoria Road, Aldershot, on Sunday, June 5. Between 10.30pm and 11.30pm, they were outside The Queen Victoria pub when they were approached by another man.
The man stopped and spoke to the men before lunging towards them with a knife and assaulting them.
The two men sustained minor injuries during the assault.
The man is described as:
- White
- Aged between 26 and 29
- Approximately 5ft 11ins tall
- Flat, short, faded light brown hair with a small fringe
- Wearing a grey tracksuit
Officers investigating the incident believe there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “Were you in the area at the time? Did you see what happened? Perhaps you were driving in the area and have dash-cam footage?
“Anyone who witnessed anything or has any information that could assist our enquiries should get in touch by calling 101 quoting reference 44220224916.
