A BRIGHTON Hill man has been forced to pay more than £500 in total by a court after he drove a 'heavily damaged' car in Surrey last year.
Cosmin-Florin Prisacaru, of Quilter Road, was driving a Mercedes on Bagshot Road, West End on November 14 which was "in a condition likely to cause danger of injury".
The car had a heavily damaged exhaust which was almost detached from the vehicle, and the front passenger side wheel had no tyre.
At Guildford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, June 15, the 21-year-old was found guilty via the single justice procedure and handed a £440 fine.
He must also pay costs of £90 and a £44 surcharge - making a total of £574 - and his driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
