POLICE in Basingstoke are calling on the public to keep reporting anti-social car meets to them, after attending numerous reports on Sunday evening (June 19).
Officers were alerted to gatherings of up to 40 people by nearby residents.
Posting to Facebook, Basingstoke Cops wrote: "This evening we have had reports of antisocial car meets in Basingstoke. These meets have included reports of over 40 vehicles.
"Our neighbourhood policing team have been dispersing the groups and are closely following their behaviour.
"We encourage the public to report antisocial car meets via 101 or online."
