A DRIVER was stopped by police earlier today (Tuesday, June 21) after officers caught them running a red light at a motorway junction.
Police spotted the offending vehicle while doing spot checks along the M3, which remains a "priority road" for Hampshire Constabulary.
The driver ran the red light on the bridge at junction 5, at Hook.
Taking to Twitter to post a picture of the interaction, Hampshire Roads Policing Unit wrote: "Sighted on the M3 over bridge at junction 5 this vehicle went through a red light.
"When doing so we were sat pole position at the lights in full view.
"Ticket issued."
