ONE PERSON has sustained 'minor injuries' following a three-vehicle collision on the A33 in Chineham this morning (Tuesday, June 28).
Police closed the road in both directions between Whitmarsh Lane and Lillymill Chine and have advised drivers to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 9.52am this morning (Tuesday 28 June) to reports of a collision involving three vehicles on the A33 at the Thornhill junction.
"The collision involved a lorry, a van and a car.

"The driver of the car is being treated for minor injuries, no other injuries have been reported.
"The road is currently closed in both directions while the vehicles are recovered and is expected to be closed for the next few hours.
"We would advise road users to avoid the area and plan alternative routes until the road is cleared."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service confimed they were not called to the scene and South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
