A KNIFE has been recovered from bushes after a fight broke out between "at least" three people in Basingstoke.
The incident happened on Saturday evening (July 2) when police received reports of a fight on Alencon Link.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police, said: “It was reported to us just after 10pm last night.
“It appears to be at least 3 people (2 men and a woman) in a fight. All involved are thought to be in their late teens/early 20s.

“It was reported someone had had a knife and dumped it in the bushes. It was recovered by officers and has since been sent for destruction."
A 19-year-old man was initially arrested in connection with the incident but was released a short time later after new information came to light, police have revealed.
One resident reported seeing two police vans, six police cars and 12 officers.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101 quoting 44220264241.
