A HAMPSHIRE police officer has been charged with sexual assaulting a woman.
Liam Porter, 40, is a serving police officer and has been charged with sexual assault on a female following an incident in Clanfield, East Hampshire, on January 18.
Hampshire Constabulary said that the offence is alleged to have taken place while the officer was on duty.
He will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 12.
PC Porter is currently suspended from duty.
