A WOMAN in her 20s was injured after a glass was thrown at her in a Hampshire pub.
The incident took place inside the Duke of York pub on Weybourne Road, Aldershot.
At around 9.30pm on Friday, July 1, the woman was injured after a glass was thrown in her direction while she was near the bar.
She was left with a laceration to her cheek.
A man in his 20s was also left with bruising and swelling to his face following an altercation inside the pub.
Officers have launched an investigation and have been carrying out enquiries.
Following the incident, a 27-year-old woman from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and assaulting a person occasioning them actual bodily harm.
She has been released under investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "We are now appealing for witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation.
"Were you in the pub at that time? Did you witness the incident?
