Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith after winning bronze at the World Age Group championships
TWO Basingstoke gymnasts have been placed third in the world at the World Age Group championships.
Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith won the bronze medal in the Age Group 1 mixed pair category.
Felix also competed individually in the Group 1 male category and was placed fourth in the world.
This was their first ever World Age Group Championships.
In March this year, the pair had won gold at the International Open Cantanhede 2022 in Portugal.
