BASINGSTOKE and Deane Borough Council have approved plans to build a family home in Tadley.
A planning application was submitted to the council to build the home on 12, Tadley Hill.
The plans asked for permission for the erection of a four-bedroom detached home with an attached single storey garage.
The existing access onto Swedish Houses will have to be widened.

A comment from Tadley Town Council on the officers report read: "Very concerned about an increase in vehicle movements using Swedish Houses to access the A340.
“Note that Swedish Houses is an unadopted road, if the application is approved then a condition of approval should be for a contribution towards the upkeep of the road.”
Speaking on behalf of the applicant Steven Cottrell said there have been no objections from council officers, who advised it should be approved.

Councillors on the development control committee voted in favour of building the home.
