THE MP for Basingstoke has said she understands that fans want “no stone is left unturned” after protesters campaigning to save the Camrose stadium called for the inquiry to be reviewed.
As previously reported permission was granted in May to build 85 dwellings and a 70-bedroom care home on the site.
The former chairman of Basingstoke Town Football Club Raffi Razzak and his company Basron Developments Ltd lodged appeals against a decision by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s development control committee to reject his planning applications.
A government inspector conducted an inquiry into the planning decisions and granted approval for both schemes.

David Graham, who lives in Basingstoke, is just one of the dedicated football fans who has been tirelessly protesting to save the stadium. He formed a group with several others and with the help of Ms Miller they have submitted a complaint to the Attorney General claiming the hearing was “unfair, inaccurate and contradictory”.
Ms Miller said: “Basingstoke Town Football Club, its players and supporters deserve the best possible support after being turfed out of the Camrose grounds. Sport England has fought hard on behalf of the community and the club to make sure important upgrades to the Winklebury site are paid for by the owners of the Camrose ground, but there remains a question mark over what happens if the club needs bigger facilities in the future. Basingstoke Town FC is part of the community, part of our town.
“I am not sure whether the Attorney General is in a position to provide legal advice on this, but I understand why supporters want to ensure no stone is left unturned."
In a letter sent to David, which has been seen by the Gazette, Ms Miller confirmed she had written to the Attorney General to call for a review.

It read: “As discussed I have written on your behalf to the Attorney General to request a review of the case and to ask for guidance about how your concerns can be escalated.”
As it stands the club are currently playing at the Winklebury Football Complex.
