A BUSY Basingstoke road was partially closed this afternoon following a two-vehicle collision outside a primary school.
One fire engine from Basingstoke was called to Oakridge Road at 4.02pm following an road traffic incident involving two cars.
The incident occured on the junction with Sherborne Road, near to Oakridge Infant and Junior schools.
The road was reportedly closed as far as Aldermaston Road roundabout while recovery took place.
Firefighters made the scene safe and an off-duty paramedic provided medical care to two casualties.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene shortly after 4.45pm.
Stagecoach South informed passengers that there would be delays to multiple services.
AA Traffic News is reporting that the area has now cleared.
The Gazette has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for comment.
