ONE LANE was blocked on the A34 at Burghclere on Friday afternoon (July 15) due to a road traffic incident.
AA Traffic News reported an incident northbound, near Tott Hill Services northbound.
Congestion built up at the Highclere turnoff, with an average speed of 5mph and delays of 17 minutes along the stretch.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for comment.
National Highways: South-East tweeted that the collision involved a car driver who had 'struck the central reservation barrier.'
They said that Hampshire Police were in attendance and the incident caused at least two miles of congestion.
