A MAN in his 30s has sadly died following a collision in Basingstoke over the weekend.
The incident, involving a blue Ford KA and a pedestrian, occurred at 12.55am on Sunday, July 17 on Worting Road, near to the junction of Old Worting Road.
The pedestrian, a 37-year-old man from Basingstoke, was taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, but sadly died a short time later.
His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Sergeant Spencer Wragg said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have seen the pedestrian in the time leading up to the incident.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have dash-cam footage.”
