A BASINGSTOKE man has admitted to harassing the town's MP for more than three years.
Between July 1 2018 and January 13 2022, Michael Bedford, of Hillary Road, harassed Maria Miller MP.
The 58-year-old sent "numerous and highly offensive" emails to Mrs Miller, as well as to her husband's law firm and other people connected to her.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on July 11, Bedford pleaded guilty to the offence.
The case was adjourned for sentencing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on August 22.
Maria Miller declined to comment.
