A MAJOR road near Basingstoke is witnessing heavy delays following a traffic incident.
There has been an incident on M3 at Junction 6 southbound near Basingstoke, causing delays of 35 minutes.
National Highways South East said there are delays of 30 minutes
According to Romanse, the traffic update account of Hampshire County Council, lanes 2 and 3 of M3 southbound were blocked following the incident.
Traffic personnel have now managed to move the vehicles to the hard shoulder and they have opened the two lanes.
