A house has been devastated by fire in Basingstoke on Sunday morning.
A woman has been taken to the care of South Central Ambulance Service following the fire that gutted a ground floor flat near Chapel Hill at around 7am on Sunday (July 24).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said four crews from Basingstoke attended the scene.
A spokesman said: “The time of call was 7.05am. The fire was in a ground floor flat, which was 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
“Two hose reel jets, two covering jets, and four breathing apparatus were used to fight the fire.
“One female casualty was taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.”
