THE roof of a house in the Cranbourne area of Basingstoke has been 'fully destroyed' following a fire on Wednesday evening (July 27).
Basingstoke and Hartley Wintney crews were called at 7.19pm to a semi-detached property on Morley Road where a fire had broken out in the loft space.
One casualty was provided with Immediate Emergency Care by crews.
The stop came in at 11.02pm after the fire had been extinguished using the aerial ladder platform, breathing apparatus, hose reels, jets and ventilation fans.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Resxue Service spokesperson said: "The roof was fully destroyed in the blaze with the first-floor suffering 50 per cent damage.
"One crew returned in the night to conduct a reinspection to ensure there were no remaining hotspots."
