A MAN has been arrested following an incident in Overton on Friday evening (July 29).

Police were called out at 5.37pm following reports of an assault at a property on Overton High Street.

No injuries were reported.

Hampshire Constabulary has now confirmed that a 22-year-old man from Overton was arrested on suspicion of assault and causing criminal damage.

He remains in custody at this time.
