A ROAD leading to a major roundabout in Basingstoke will be partially closed from Monday as part of the ongoing improvement works.
The Western Way will be partially closed at its entry to the Brighton Hill roundabout from Monday, August 15 to Friday, August 19, Hampshire County Council has announced.
The closure is part of the council’s ongoing improvement works.

The council said a signed diversion will be in place.
Milestone Infrastructure Limited has been appointed by the council to upgrade Brighton Hill.
The works on the £20-million scheme started in January. It has been funded by the EM3 Local Enterprise Partnership’s Local Growth Fund and the county council.

The improvement works are expected to go on for two years.
