A WOMAN who suffered serious injuries following a crash outside a supermarket in Basingstoke has sadly died, police have confirmed.
The woman, aged in her 70s, died in hospital on Friday, August 5.
Police had earlier said two pedestrians – a man and a woman in their 70s – were taken to hospital following a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians outside Asda in Brighton Way, Brighton Hill, on Wednesday, August 3.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “At 2.25pm on August 3 police were called to a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians outside Asda on Brighton Way, Basingstoke.
“Sadly, one of the pedestrians, a woman aged in her seventies, passed away in hospital on August 5.”
