Simon Ayers, managing director of TrustMark, said: “Destination Basingstoke offers us the chance to get more involved in the community we are proud to be part of, they have such an exciting range of projects that we are keen to get staff enthused and engaged with and we are looking forward to becoming really embedded in the local business scene."
Mr Ayers will join the board of Destination Basingstoke.
In addition, TrustMark is also sponsoring the New Business Award category of the Inspire Business Awards.
Mr Ayers added: “This award is about recognising the opportunism and enthusiasm of new businesses taking their first difficult steps to get established, we understand the challenges they face and hope that entering the award will help them take a step back and realise what they have already achieved.”
