A STAR-studded wrestling show is coming to Basingstoke, with an extra-special rumble. 

Kapow and SWF wrestling are organising a ‘Ready to Rumble’ show at the Popley Fields Community Centre following on from two successive sell-out events at the same venue.

This will be the final time the wrestlers are returning to Basingstoke for the show this year.

The event will be held on Friday, September 9.

The action-packed two-hour show features tag team and solo action with the climax of the evening being a 20-man 'Royal Rumble'. 

It involves a new wrestler entering the ring every 60 seconds and the only way they can be eliminated is by being thrown over the top rope with both feet landing on the floor.

Once all 20 competitors have entered the match there can only be one winner to crown the king of the ring. 

Among the superstars scheduled to appear is The Prince of Mumbai Rishi Ghosh. 

Ghosh, who recently appeared in the Hollywood movie Fighting with my Family staring The Rock, makes his first appearance in Basingstoke and is a favourite to lift the king of the ring trophy having just returned from a world tour.

Other stars set to appear are Big Money Bobby Vegas, British wrestling Veteran Kris Kay, Mjr Lee Buff, Psycho Twitch and stars of the future from the Quality Wrestling Academy based in Havant. 

All the action starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6.30pm on Friday, September 9.
