A VAN that was driving 18mph over the speed limit has been stopped by police.
The Hampshire Roads Policing Unit said the van was clocked at 48 in a 30 in Hook and the driver then tried to avoid the police.
The vehicle had false plates, was untaxed, and had no MOT.

This van was clocked at 48 in a 30 in Hook and tried to avoid us. Fortunately he ducked into a dead end! Seems he wasn't only trying to avoid a speeding ticket as his van (on false plates) was uninsured, untaxed and had no MoT. Driver does have a driving licence though.. for now pic.twitter.com/Dfd4PixrK5
