THERE has been a collision involving a BMW car and a young girl in Basingstoke.
According to witnesses, a girl of about seven years of age was involved in the collision on Carpenters Down in Popley, Basingstoke.
The collision happened at 2.30pm on September 9. Officers had to close the road for nearly an hour, which caused delays in the area.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.30pm to Carpenters Down in Basingstoke following a collision involving a black BMW and a pedestrian who sustained injuries as a result.
"Closures were put in place but the road had fully reopened by 3.20pm."
