AS a mark of respect, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s waste, recycling and garden waste collections have been moved.
Bin collections will not take place acorss the borough on Monday, September 19 which is also the date for the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Those bin collections scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, September 20.

From Tuesday, residents should put their containers out on their normal collection day to allow crews to catch up throughout the week, where possible. It is likely collections will run into Saturday.
