BASINGSTOKE and Deane Borough Council has confirmed that meetings will be cancelled during the national period of mourning following the Queen's death.
All committee meetings scheduled during the period of mourning and on the day of the funeral, which is a bank holiday, have been cancelled with items going to the next scheduled meeting or have been rescheduled.
This included the community, environment and partnerships committee that was scheduled for Wednesday, September 14 and the human resources committee scheduled for Monday, September 19.

The scrutiny committee scheduled for Tuesday, September 20 has also been postponed, as the bank holiday would not allow sufficient time to publish the reports the full five working days required before the meeting.
