A COOLING services company has renewed its title sponsorship deal with Basingstoke ice hockey team Bison.
Hampshire-based GalxC Cooling Services confirmed the renewal of their title sponsorship of the team for the 2022-23 season.
Bison play in the National Ice Hockey League.
GalxC is a provider of HVAC comfort cooling and industrial refrigeration projects that designs, installs, services and hires cooling equipment including ice rink glycol chillers.
A GalxC spokesperson said: “Having witnessed first-hand last season the passion shown by the players on the ice, the team at GalxC is thrilled to have their logo featured above the Bison crest on the playing jerseys for another season.”
Director of GalxC Iain Hazell said: “We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the arena last season to watch the Bison team, and wanted our company to be once again associated with such a passionate local brand.
“We look forward to watching the team play and wish coach Tait, the players, staff, and everyone involved with the club the very best of luck for the new season competing in the Planet Ice National Ice Hockey League. At GalxC, we share the very same values of teamwork, talent, support, and excellence in terms of performance and investing in people, which makes the Basingstoke Bison the perfect fit for our title sponsorship.”
Bison’s director John Neville said: “I am so pleased that Iain and the staff at GalxC are back for a second year as title sponsor. It really is great news for the Bison that a company as reputable as GalxC Cooling Services want to be involved with the club, and once more support a local Hampshire sport team.”
