A MAN in his 40s has denied the attempted rape of a woman in a park in Basingstoke.
Costel-Sorinel Predi, 41, from School Close, Basingstoke, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, September 21.
He pleaded not guilty to attempted rape and common assault of a woman in her 20s.

Police were called on Thursday, August 18 at 10.44pm to a report of an attempted rape in a park near Hungerford Close.
A trial date has been set for January 30 next year.
