MEMBERS of Basingstoke Gymnastics Club have had a successful outing at the British Championships 2022 as they came back with bunch of medals.
The group recorded some amazing results, including five titles.
Xanthe Esslemont is the new Senior Individual Women British Champion 2022, while the club’s international-level senior group Elizabeth Marais, Xanthe Esslemont and teammates from Bulmershe Gymnastics Club Niamh Keane, Alisha Bartlett and Elena Hamblin took the Senior British group title.
World bronze medallists Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith took the British titles in 12-14 years category.
International-level age group (12-14years) team Lily Harris, Jayda Blanchflower and gymnasts from Bulmershe Gymnastics Club, Matthew Gogol, Aiva Bird-Haynes and Olivia Moore took the silver medal with their exciting routine.
National-level 12-14-year group Trio Jacey Wrigley, Lilly Leavey and Sophie Jakes took home the gold medal in their category.
National-age group (12-14years) gymnasts Verity Barribal, Phoebe Beckell, Hannah Foxon, Abigail Judson and Lillian Miller also took the national title.
Jacey Wrigley brought home silver medal in the 10-11 national age group category. Teammate Cordelia Hay also came home with a bronze medal in the same category.
