A BASINGSTOKE man has denied stalking two people, including a woman he claimed to be in a relationship with.
Alexander Ward, of Attwood Close, appeared at Winchester Crown Court via live link from Winchester prison on Wednesday, September 28.
The court heard he caused two people - a man and a woman - serious alarm and distress by following them to their homes and social events between April 7 and August 31 this year.
The 68-year-old also allegedly made unwanted contact over the phone and via social media.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Judge Adam Feest KC adjourned the case for a three-day trial on February 27, 2023, with a further plea and trial preparation hearing listed for October 24 this year.
Ward has been remanded in custody.
