DRIVERS are facing heavy delays after a three-car crash caused a lane closure on the M3 near Winchester.
Officers attended an RTI heading southbound at J11/A3090 in the roadworks area at around 1.50pm on Saturday, October 1.
Motorists originally faced backlogs of up to 40 minutes while crews dealt with the incident.

The lane has now been reopened but residual congestion of around 20 minutes remains.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.50pm today to junction 11 of the M3 southbound, to a collision involving three cars.
“No injuries were reported to us and we left the scene by 3.07pm.”
