ROAD resurfacing work will see a stretch of the A339 closed over night near Basingstoke.
Hampshire Highways will be carrying out the work on Newbury Road (A399), Kingsclere, adjacent to the Star Inn.
The works are currently programmed to start on October 6 and are expecting to last for at least three nights.

During that time the road will be closed from 9pm until 6am each night. The road will however be open during those hours at the weekend.

Hampshire Highways have asked residents to ensure that no vehicles are parked in the area when works are expected to be carried out.
