A BASINGSTOKE salon is celebrating six months under new management.

Eloquin salon will be celebrating six months since Suzanne Miller and Angela Pearce took over running the business with a special anniversary and launch event.

Angela explained: “We have goody bags for the first 30 people that come, and we are offering cupcakes, prosecco, nibbles.

“And then we are doing some trial treatments; we are doing mini-massages, free scalp massage or a hand massage, things like that just to sort of trial.

“Suzanne, who is our holistic specialist, might do a little bit of a free reiki treatment, that sort of thing.

“And anyone who brings a friend who has not been before, they are going to be entered into a draw to win a facial as well.”

The event will take place on Sunday, November 6 from 11am – 3pm, with customers able to drop in and out when they choose.

Suzanne and Angela took over Eloquin in April 2022 and have spent the time since then refurbishing the entirety of the salon, alongside continuing to perform beauty treatments on customers.

Angela said that the community has been very supportive of her and Suzanne taking over the salon, especially since they used to work there before taking the business over.

She said: “Because we are former employees it has been nice to come back, and our clients often say ‘Wow, we remember you’, and we’ve been able to see old faces, so I think that’s put them at ease.”

The pair also wanted to thank the members of the community who have supported them since they took over the salon from previous owner Kerry, who Angela said had been very supportive.

Angela continued: “We’re just very thankful, really, for the continued loyalty of existing clients.

“We’ve very grateful, obviously for the new clients that have trusted us, and anyone who continues to support us and leave us reviews; we’ve had quite a lot of reviews recently, which has been lovely.

“Thank you to all of our existing, loyal customers, thanks for carrying on using us and keeping the trust in us, and thank you to all the new clients that choose us as their salon."

Eloquin is one of the longest running salons in Basingstoke, having been open 30 years this year.
