ICONIC stars of this year's Christmas pantomime have been busy getting into the Halloween spirit this year.
Buttons and Cinders, from The Anvil’s Christmas pantomime this year, spent time at Rotherwick Pumpkin Patch in Hook, checking out the pumpkins before panto season.
Chris Pizzey, Buttons in the Anvil panto, and Rachel Grundy, in the title role Cinderella, had a great time picking out pumpkins ready for Halloween.
Chris said: “Our Fairy Godmother, played by the lovely Debbie McGee, will be sprinkling her magic during the festive season – so Cinders and I were delighted to visit this local farm to pick out some possible pumpkins, I mean we all know the story, don’t we?”

Meanwhile Rachel added: “I’m looking forward to playing Cinderella this year in Basingstoke, and can’t wait for panto to start.”
Rotherwick Pumpkin Patch is open for pumpkin picking from October 22 to October 30. Visit the website www.rotherwickpatch.com for more details.
Anvil Arts and UK Productions are thrilled to announce that taking on the role of Fairy Godmother in this Christmas’ traditional pantomime will be ‘the lovely’ Debbie McGee.
Debbie is best known for working with her husband, the late Paul Daniels, in the longest running TV magic show in the world The Paul Daniels Magic Show, and, in 2017, reaching the final in the hit BBC 1 show Strictly Come Dancing, partnering Giovanni Pernice.
The Anvil’s Cinderella runs from December 9 until January 2.
