MEMBERS of Basingstoke Gymnastics Club made the town proud by displaying an incredible performance at an international championship.
The Aerobic gymnasts who flew out to Bulgaria to compete at the Plovdiv Cup 2022, returned with many plaudits.
World medallists Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith took the silver medal with their last routine in their age group category.
Rosa Brown finished eighth in her first international competition out of 74 gymnasts.
Starr Hockham, in her first year of Juniors, finished seventh with a beautiful routine.

Jayda Blanchflower and Lily Harris with teammates from Bulmershe Gymnastics Club Matthew Gogol, Olivia Moore and Aiva Bird-Haynes qualified in second position and finished fifth.
Emily Street, Pippa Stokes, Sukki Hockham, Rosie Howells, Summer-Lily Blackburn and Xanthe Esslemont also competed and performed beautifully.
Before the Bulgarian event, the Basingstoke Gymnastics Club had another successful weekend at the South Regional Championships, as the women’s artistic gymnasts came back with some amazing results.
In Challenge Espoir, Roxy was first on floor, Ella C first on vault and Emma second on vault, third on bars and third on floor
In Challenge Junior, Zoe was first on vault and floor, second on bars and beam and second all round.
In Challenge Senior, Holly was first on vault and bar, third on beam, second on floor, second all round and Jess second on bars and first on beam. In Classic challenge bronze, Paloma was first on vault and Eva was second on vault.
Ella B qualified to represent south regional team in the Classic Challenge Nationals, while Holly and Mia were invited to represent the south regional team in the international Rushmoor Rose Bawl challenge.

The club gymnasts also came back with some fantastic results from the Autumn Micro Competition held in Bracknell.
Marcus, Alfie and Pheonix won Mini Boys level 6 Gold, while Chloe, Rose and Freya won Youth Girls level 5 Gold.
Chloe, Shannon, Eva, Kennedy and Freya bagged Junior Girls level 5 Gold.
