FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Basingstoke road over the weekend as a car went up in flames.
Two crews from Basingstoke were alerted to the car which was fully alight on Roman Way on Sunday, October 23, at 1.37pm.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus stopped the blaze using hose reels.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Police were requested to manage the traffic and the Highways Agency called to the scene to recover the vehicle."
Crews returned to the station after 2.23pm.
