A MAJOR road near Basingstoke has been reopened following a two-vehicle crash.
According to police, the incident happened just after 12.30pm.
Minor injuries were reported.
A340 Aldermaston Road was completely blocked in both directions due to the incident in Sherborne St John near the turn of Elm Bottom Cross.
It has now been reopened after traffic officers cleared the road.
According to Romanse, the traffic updating account of Hampshire County Council, delays were building northbound following the incident.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We were called to Elm Road in Sherborne St John at 12.38pm following reports of a two vehicle collision.
“Minor injuries were reported to us.
“The road was closed while emergency services responded but has reopened as of 1.52pm.”
