A NEW private eye care centre is opening in Basingstoke next month.
Community-based ophthalmology and endoscopy services provider CHEC has announced the launch of its new treatment centre in Basingstoke.
The new unit will open at Inova House in Hampshire International Business Park in Lime Tree Way.
CHEC is expecting its services to support the NHS in providing high-quality, efficient care for patients.
The clinic will be CHEC’s first site in Hampshire.

The launch follows news that the waiting list for hospital treatment has hit a record high of seven million, with hospitals currently carrying out 12 per cent fewer operations and treatments than before the pandemic.
The site is due to open in December, making it CHEC’s 17th site in England.
Chief operating officer Jon Dore said: “The expansion of our services across the South will help us reach more patients that are in urgent need of efficient, high-quality eye treatment and diagnostic endoscopy services.
“As NHS backlogs are continuing to rise, it’s vital that we provide the services to support patients in as many locations across the UK as possible. As always, we look forward to welcoming the Basingstoke community to our new facility and supporting them with their healthcare needs.”
