Silchester Village beat Bisterne United 5-1 in the Hampshire Saturday Vase Cup, writes Tony Spencer, as Matt Fulton chalked up a hat-trick, Stephen Burgess and Daniel Vickers added singles.
Silchester have now gone seven games unbeaten.
Renegades won their tie 7-3 against Liphook United Social.
Tadley Calleva A kept a clean sheet as they went through to the next round 4-0 against Harvest Reserves, their sixth game in their unbeaten run.
CK Andover Reserves went down 6-0 at Mid Solent League side Mob Albion, who are on a six-game unbeaten run.
AFC Aldermaston A wanted to turn around a poor performance of the previous week, determined to have a go at visitors Overton in the first 20 mins of their Division 1 match. It worked, Aldermaston went 1-0 up through Josh Strokes, who hit a left-foot shot low into the goal on 19 mins. However, Overton United Reserves equalised from a corner when Baldy headed into the Aldermaston goal before the interval, 1-1. The second half was all Aldermaston but they couldn’t take any of the chances they created and Overton converted a late chance to win 1-2. Archie Fletcher and Louis McCann netted for Overton.
Odiham United were 1-3 up at the interval in their Division 2 match at Oakridge. Ethan Emery scored his brace on 12 and 21 mins, Daniel Hine added a third 5 mins before half-time. Oakridge pulled a goal back in the second half but Odiham went on to win 2-3, their third win in a row. Nathan Bedford and sub Max Trodd scored for Oakridge.
